Jessica Lee Chu En is an award-winning documentary director and producer, and co-founder of Beam Sea, a film production company.


Her film Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso, produced for Netflix, ranked in the top 10 non-English films globally and reached number one in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia. She produced The Raincoat Killer for Netflix Korea, where it ranked in the top 5. She directed Secret Lives of Trees, a premium history documentary series for CNA, nominated for the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards 2023, a Women in History series for the National Library Board of Singapore. She has also directed and produced branded documentaries for the likes of Samsung, Hyundai, and others.

Jessica was formerly Head of Development at Beach House Pictures, Asia's largest independent production studio. She also teaches documentary filmmaking at the National University of Singapore.


She is based in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
